She came over for leftovers and wine at my house the day after Christmas. Santa Claus brought me a lot of pens and paints this year and I got busy with them. Mom was too tired to clean me up before Aunt Mish arrived, so I stayed as I was (she wouldn't be appalled like Grammy would be). It was lots of fun playing with Aunt Mish and this way Aunt Mish got her dose of kids.

The SHOW!
(Filming done by Auntie Mish)
There is me in the middle and I'm next to my fab friend S. We are rockin the house so that Santa can hear all the way up in the North Pole. It is still undecided if I am on the Naughty or Nice list...

Popping Up Popcorn
Mimi and Pops showed Tula and me how popcorn is made- BY POPPING! It's amazing stuff. There are these little kernels in the hot pan and the next thing you know they are POPCORN. God really knocked himself (or herself) out when he came up with this idea. Who would've thought? It's almost as amazing as a caterpillar changing into a butterfly.

Trick or Treat
We've Been Ghosted
The other night while I was wreaking havoc in the attic, mommy was cooking dinner and Tula was having a snack, we heard a loud knocking at the door. Mom looked out and saw a brown bag sitting on the mat. Since it was so close to Halloween she was a little worried about what was inside the bag. Finally she decided to investigate and we slowly opened the front door. "YOU"VE BEEN GHOSTED" was written on the bag and treats were inside! So much better than tricks any night. Tula and I both ate all of our dinners so that we could eat all of the treats!

The Islanders Rock...
...even if they don't necessarily win, those poor guys sure know how to fight. Bramps, Dad, Tula, and I went to the first kids game of the season and we had a blast. I'm hanging out with my new BFF (the mascot for the winning team, whose name shall not be said) listening to the booming on the boards. BOOM!

Fast Friends
A boy named Zach zoomed down my block and showed me some really cool tricks he could do on his scooter. Then he let me take a ride on his scooter! And then he went home and got his trike (because one speedy toy wasn't enough). I was very impressed with his no fear attitude and boundless amount of energy. I think that we're going to be fast friends.

Lobster Roll Lunch
We went on a road trip to Deer Isle and it was a very beautiful place, but it was a little spooky too. Kind of like right out of a Stephen King novel. All the people were really nice...well maybe not the hostess at the restaurant we ate at... but everyone else was, but it seemed like they could have all been hiding some kind of secret. I'm too young to really think about that kind of stuff, but I was a little afraid of the lady at the restaurant who said the umbrellas wouldn't go up when we knew they would. (See the one in the background, she opened it later for another party, probably some locals.) She didn't like us. We were outsiders. Unlike most horror novels we didn't stick around to investigate. We ate our lobster rolls and were out of there.
My First Canoe Ride
August was a whirlwind of a month with mom packing for our move and all. Then as soon as we moved into a new house, we were off on a trip to Maine. I couldn't figure out which house was mine with so many beds that I was sleeping in. This canoe ride helped me meditate and sort things out. We had seven sleepovers at our cabin in Maine and it was pure bliss.

Minature Horses
Today I was invited to ride minature horses by an old friend of Uncle Steve's. His family is really nice and I played with their son R.J. He's younger that me, but I like younger boys. He let me share his water. I really liked to ride the horse around the barn, but I didn't want to feed it because I was afraid of losing a finger. I wore my cowboy boots and they came in handy when I walked around the ranch. Now I know why they are called sh-t kickers. And by the way Daddy, I don't want a kitty anymore...
I want a Kawasaki Mule.
Tweedledee and Tweedledum
So what do you think of these nifty hats? Auntie Honeymeier brought them over with two coats to match. Uncle Steve and I decided to do a fashion show. How great do we look? With the coats they are very Fifth Avenue. I'll have to take a shopping spree this winter to Bergdorf's in my new coat and hat.

Us Plus One
If this is what having a new sibling is like, then I want no part of it. Our cousin X visited and he's really adorable and all, but every time Mama held him, TulaLula FREAKED out. Tula never cries, EVER. Not even when I lock her in the bathroom, or take her toys, but if Mama things of holding another baby, she starts sobbing, with a capital S. I got to hold X and give him his binky (which he likes to spit out) and it is lots of fun. He's really cute. I was happy to get to see him because he lives on the West coast and I live on the East coast, so it's not easy to visit. Tula will probably like that.
