I've been wearing my peace necklace a lot more recently because I am trying to spread the love. Thank goodness I can't really comprehend what is going on in the world today because I probably would get pretty sad about it. War, bankruptcy, foreclosures, those words sound pretty depressing to me. I'm glad my world is full of slides, chocolate, and playing with my little sister, who idolizes the ground I walk on. Here is a nice story to make your day a happy one. Yesterday I was in the park and met a boy named Stepon (yeah I know, poor kid). He just moved here from Japan and he is very nice. I shared my dinosaur with him and we played for awhile. When Nicole told me we had to leave she said "Give him a hug and say thanks for playing with me". So I did. His nanny said, "Stepon, do you want to give your new friend a hug goodbye?" and he replied, "No, I want to give her a kiss". So he did. A big smack on the lips. Now that's the kind of peace I'm talking about.
