Lobster Roll Lunch

We went on a road trip to Deer Isle and it was a very beautiful place, but it was a little spooky too. Kind of like right out of a Stephen King novel. All the people were really nice...well maybe not the hostess at the restaurant we ate at... but everyone else was, but it seemed like they could have all been hiding some kind of secret. I'm too young to really think about that kind of stuff, but I was a little afraid of the lady at the restaurant who said the umbrellas wouldn't go up when we knew they would. (See the one in the background, she opened it later for another party, probably some locals.) She didn't like us. We were outsiders. Unlike most horror novels we didn't stick around to investigate. We ate our lobster rolls and were out of there.

My First Canoe Ride

August was a whirlwind of a month with mom packing for our move and all. Then as soon as we moved into a new house, we were off on a trip to Maine. I couldn't figure out which house was mine with so many beds that I was sleeping in. This canoe ride helped me meditate and sort things out. We had seven sleepovers at our cabin in Maine and it was pure bliss.

Minature Horses

Today I was invited to ride minature horses by an old friend of Uncle Steve's. His family is really nice and I played with their son R.J. He's younger that me, but I like younger boys. He let me share his water. I really liked to ride the horse around the barn, but I didn't want to feed it because I was afraid of losing a finger. I wore my cowboy boots and they came in handy when I walked around the ranch. Now I know why they are called sh-t kickers.

And by the way Daddy, I don't want a kitty anymore...

I want a Kawasaki Mule.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum

So what do you think of these nifty hats? Auntie Honeymeier brought them over with two coats to match. Uncle Steve and I decided to do a fashion show. How great do we look? With the coats they are very Fifth Avenue. I'll have to take a shopping spree this winter to Bergdorf's in my new coat and hat.

Us Plus One

If this is what having a new sibling is like, then I want no part of it. Our cousin X visited and he's really adorable and all, but every time Mama held him, TulaLula FREAKED out. Tula never cries, EVER. Not even when I lock her in the bathroom, or take her toys, but if Mama things of holding another baby, she starts sobbing, with a capital S. I got to hold X and give him his binky (which he likes to spit out) and it is lots of fun. He's really cute. I was happy to get to see him because he lives on the West coast and I live on the East coast, so it's not easy to visit. Tula will probably like that.

Dancing on the Dunes

I stayed at a house on Stinson Beach for the past week and had lots of fun dodging waves and climbing on the dunes. I really liked playing with my little sister. We're best friends. She liked swimming and building sand castles with me. I love the ocean.

Uncle Peep's Birthday

I took a plane to California on Uncle Peep's Birthday because I didn't want to miss his party. I'm sure glad I made it because he had a really good ice cream cake.

Before and After

Many of you have been wondering where I have been...Well I have been going through a transformation from age 3 to age 4. These are the before and after pictures of how each age looks. Above is how I felt when I was the young age of three and my feelings were all over the place. Below is me now. I am a big girl, composed and very wise about the ways of a 4 year old. I am ready to share my life again. See you soon.

The Statue of Glittery

Ever since I watched Across the Universe with mom I have been deathly afraid of the Statue of Glittery. The scene when the boys carry the statue is very scary. Mom tried to explain it to me and I freaked out. Then she told me we lived near the statue and we could actually visit it and I REALLY FREAKED out.

Well I forgot about that incident and a couple of months later, guess what? Mimi and Pops came for a visit, we went on a boat ride, and I SAW THE STATUE OF GLITTERY. I faced my biggest fear before I turned the age four!

Eastershock!!!

The Easter Bunny brought me a 100 piece puzzle!!! I couldn't believe it! Mom said that if I was a bad little girl, the Easter Bunny wouldn't bring me any candy. I didn't believe her and even said that I didn't want the Easter Bunny to visit. I like being naughty too much. Well I didn't believe it, so when I saw that my sister had a big basket with lots of candy and I only had a puzzle, well I did what comes naturally. I HAD A FIT! I cried, I screamed, I threw the basket.

Dad and Mom told me that they had seen another basket somewhere, so I looked around and you know what? The Easter Bunny really did bring me a basket. With fancy shoes and yummy candy and I was soooo happy.

Maybe being a bad girl isn't such a good idea...

Exploring Brooklyn

I went with Mom, Dad, and Little Sis to Brooklyn last Sunday. The weather was gorgeous and the folks were really nice. I'm wearing my green dress and magic red shoes. I'm sooo beautiful. Little Sis and I explored around the park area. She's becoming a little minx and very bold. Last week she was playing in the bathroom and used up all the paper for our butts!

Big Bear Hugs

I am bigger than my sister, so it is really easy to take advantage of her and tease her, which I have been practicing lately...the art of antagonizing my sister. I take her things and wave them in front of her, just so she knows I HAVE THEM and she DOESN'T. I ride on toys that she likes and make loud noises so that she looks my way and gets upset because I'm having more fun than she is. My favorite of all is to give her kisses and hugs and rub her head really hard so that she cries. Just to make sure she knows I love her.

Queen Boopsieboo is Back

Recently I haven't felt like posing for the camera, so I've taken a blog sabatical. Sometimes things just need to be private. You can see by this photo that I am thrilled to be back. What have I been doing for the past three months? Well I've been holed up in a small NYC apartment driving my mother insane because with the energy I have, only a mansion can tire me out. I need VAST space. But when mom wants to go to the park, suddenly I get tired and can't walk by myself, instead I make my exhausted mother push me in the stroller.

I am queen Boopsieboo of course. Aren't queens supposed to drive whomever is around them crazy? Can you see my beautiful outfit? It may be the first day of spring, but in my world it is summer all the time. I wear my swimsuit around my apartment no matter what degree it is outside. I love the cold, especially when I can wear a bathing suit.

Hiking with Lulu

I went on my first hike ever and loved it! I was able to walk Lulu on the leash for the first part of the hike and she gave me quite a workout. She almost pulled me onto my face several times. She may be old, but she's still twice my size. Pops and and I had a great time going off the trails and traveling through the woods. We almost got caught in a bunch of poison oak, a creek, and I almost slid down a muddy hill. He saved me every time.

Bad Habits

I've been hanging out with Pops during my holiday vacation and he's been teaching me about things I never knew about. I helped him organize his dresser and in the process I was able to fill up my purse with all sorts of goodies like a new wallet, 2 dollar bills, cuff links circa the early 80's, and many other things.

Merry Christmas!

I guess I was a good girl this year because Santa brought more presents than I have ever seen! I received some really neat things. Purple dress up shoes, an armload of yellow bracelets, the Little Mermaid movie, a huge box of gum, and the list goes on! Thanks Santa. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and thank you to everyone for such a fantastic year. Best Wishes to all!

It's My Party

A couple of weeks ago my parents went on vacation and I stayed at my Brammy and Bramps house for a long weekend. I love staying at their house because Brammy locks me in the basement with all of my toys and I get to play and play and play. Here I am celebrating my birthday party with all of my friends. How great is that? And it isn't even my birthday!

Swimming With Wujeck Stefan

I've progressed a lot since last summer and I am over my aversion to my Uncle Stefan. Bramps has now been replaced and Uncle Stefan is my new BFF. We play in the pool everyday for a couple of hours and last night we even washed dishes together. It was great until Uncle Stefan gave me a small glass dish to dry and I dropped it. Yes it shattered all over the floor and then we got to do some vaccuuming together!

Giving Thanks

Does this look familiar? Yep, similar to last Thanksgiving. I just love big leg bones. My turkey dinner was great, especially because it lasted two nights. Brammy loves cooking turkey, so she did it two nights in a row. Besides eating turkey, I've been giving thanks. I give thanks for fabulous shoes, other people's handbags, and family. Especially my Little Sister. I love her soo much. Oh yeah, and Brammy, and Bramps, and Uncle Stefan....
