My Dan Marino Toy

Dan says, "This post is dedicated to Andy, the biggest blogger fan in the world."

Hi, This is me hanging out with my pal Dan. He's great because I can manhandle him all I want. I like to flip him upside down and bounce him. Unfortunately, I don't have any good pictures of me tossing him. Did you know that he's the greatest quarterback to never win the Superbowl? It breaks my heart, but to console myself I just wear my Isotoner gloves, because they make my hands warm.

Chicago

I took a maiden voyage to Chicago over the weekend with my parents and it was super duper. My parents like to go there for an amazing opening day party and this year was its 12th year running. I can't wait till I'm old enough to go! I also went to the zoo and saw apes. We stayed in Wrigleyville and it was great because the apartment was big so I got to crawl around a lot. I also was able to spend quality time with my uncles. That is not a thug, it is my Uncle Steve, but he doesn't like to smile for any pictures. I am also hanging out with my Uncle Jeff. We went to a really yummy restaurant called Absinthe in the Ukrainian Village where Steven lives. It is probably good that my Uncle Steve looks badass, because you can get shot in that part of town. I was really good at dinner and sat on my moms lap and chewed on bread. A lot of other patrons were impressed because I am such a good baby.

Storm King

On Sunday my family took a road trip about an hour north of New York City. In the morning we had breakfast and walked around the town of Cold Springs and then we went to Storm King Sculpture Park. It is amazing. The park is very big and the sculptures are huge. It was really neat to hike around and see all of the amazing art, especially on such a nice day. It was a long one and by the end of it, I was whooped.

My First Swimming Lesson

I have begun a new swim regime with my dad on Saturdays. I am learning to swim and he is learning how to burn off the beer gut. At the rate we move around the pool, it will take years to see that thing disappear, but I am having a grand time learning the colors and the signs for the rings. I am still on the fence about my swim instructor. He dunked me in class and I didn't like it at all because he kept me under for about 5 minutes. It felt more like a drowning to me. I survived the ordeal, but I am excited to see Auntie Laura Thursday for a makeup lesson. (I can't make Saturday because I am going to Chicago for Opening Day) Maybe she'll be nicer.
