The Back Field
Behind the house Mimi and Pops live in, is a big field with grass as high as the top of my head. Lulu loves to go and take strolls in the field and I like to chase her. Unfortunately I get lost in the grass, or stuck, or fall and I have trouble keeping up with Lulu. I didn't find any dragons back here, but I did find lots of bugs.
My Discovery
I went to the Bay Area Discovery Museum during my trip to California and boy was it fun! It is by far the coolest children's museum in the whole world as far as I'm concerned. I've been to the NY Children's Museum many times and the Bay Area one is on a whole new level. Don't let the websites fool you- the NY kids may look like they are having more fun, but they really aren't.
I met up with my old pal Spencer and we had a blast at the Tot Spot river where we played with plastic fish and frogs for about an hour. I liked collecting the fish (especially swiping them from other kids) and then bringing them over to my cache where mom and mimi were sitting. Spencer liked taking the fish and hiding them in different places (like under the mote). At one point I felt like connecting with nature, so I dipped my hand in the water and drank right out of the stream, just like I would if I were hiking in the mountains. Mom got pretty upset- she said that it was disgustingly dirty water and I might get really sick. What does she know, I felt better than ever after this refreshing moment. It sure tasted better than the pool water in La Quinta.
This was just the beginning. Afterwards we went to Lookout Cove and did so much more. It was a great day. I took a three hour nap after my excursion.

Photography with Murray
Yesterday I went to Petaluma with my mom and Mimi and little sister and we had our portraits taken by Murray. I think that he's a really talented photographer, but I'll wait until I see the proofs. He let me look into his camera viewfinder and that was really great. It's a lot fancier than my pink Barbie digital cam, and it's a lot trickier to use. Mom was worried that I was going to hurt it, but I was really careful.

My Easter Bonnet
Dress up is my new favorite game and I love to play it in woman's boutiques. Don't you like this combination? I made it myself. I saw the shoes first and immediately knew I had to put them on. I was wearing jeans with this top, but they had to go. Shoes always come first. Then I stole the purse from a mannequin and found the hat on a shelf. It's not my size, but that's not necessarily what fashion is about. It might just work as an Easter Bonnet. Happy Easter.

A Long and Wonderful Week

Sharing is Caring
I had a great week in Palm Desert and one of the best parts is that I got to hang out with my Aunt Mish. She lives in LA so I don't get to see her very much. She seemed to have a fun time and was really good at holding the babies (secretly she gets butterflies because she gets a bit nervous holding small babies, especially the really little ones with no neck muscles). She was lots of fun to hang out with and taught me "Sharing is Caring".

Swimming Again
I am taking a break from the cold NYC weather and living it up in Palm Springs. We've been having some pretty wicked wind storms here, but that doesn't keep me from the pool. I swam in the hot tub for about two hours and relearned how to blow bubbles, reach my arms, kick, and boss everyone around in the water. I love to tell other people go underwater, but I refuse to do it myself.

Me, Grammy, and the Other Ones
Here is me and MY grammy, and the other newer babies. They are grandkids too, I guess. Last year the picture would have been just me and my grammy, but times are changing. It was little sis' baptism today so she is wearing a pretty white dress. And Maddie, my cousin is next to her. I still have lots of love to go around, so after this picture I gave kisses.

Doing work at Grammy's
Every Monday I get to go to Grammy's house and I love it because she puts me to work immediately. I get to mop and vacuum and sweep (she's a clean freak so she likes me to do all three on her kitchen floor before she's satisfied). And this is just in the second hour of being at Grammy's house. In the first hour I have already flossed my teeth, lotioned my face, perfumed my neck, and put on jewelry. I could never clean without looking like a proper lady- there's just something special about vacuuming with jewels on. If I had my way, I'd be wearing high heels too. After I clean the floors, she lets me cook fake pears in the oven.

Mixin Again
I was watching the Foo Fighters over the weekend and realized that David Grohl and I have the same hairstyle. That is, when he's onstage singing and when I'm working real hard, we both let our hair down. Here I'm helping Auntie Laura season the salad for dinner. As you well know, I just love to spice things up.

Me and Luvey
Here's a great picture of me and luvey. Mom calls her that a lot and so do I. I'm always looking around for luvey so that I can give her hugs, or kisses, or both. I tend to say and do whatever mom does. If mom burps the baby, then I burp the baby. If mom sucks snot out of baby's nose with the bulb, then so do I. If mom changes baby's diaper, then I do. And I talk like mommy too. I say words like "Great", "Okay", and some other things mom doesn't know she says so much. Now she knows.
